Integral Technologies Logo         FlashBus Spectrim Lite
pci bus frame grabber The FlashBus Spectrim Lite is the smartest answer for cost sensitive imaging acquisition applications. The FlashBus Spectrim Lite is a PCI 2.2 compliant bus mastering video frame grabber that provides quality video images at an amazingly low price.

Low Cost - $ 379. - qty. 1
The FlashBus Spectrim Lite frame grabber offers a number of features, including an on-board Philips TriMedia Video Processor with an internal 16 MBytes SDRAM frame buffer. This feature permits smooth, interpolated video scaling to arbitrarily sized windows, hardware overlay and real-time video rotation.

Bus Mastering Performance
Taking advantage of its high speed PCI 2.2 compliant bus mastering capabilities (up to 132 MBytes/sec.), the FlashBus Spectrim Lite frame grabber delivers consecutive frames of video in real time into system or display memory while the CPU is free to operate on other applications.

External Triggers
The FlashBus Spectrim Lite frame grabber accepts one input trigger so that image acquisition can be synchronized to external events. Interrupt and polled input triggers are available to control external events in a technique best suited for application execution. FlashBus Spectrim Lite also provides one TTL level output trigger for controlling external devices.

Utility Software Support
The FlashBus Spectrim Lite setup software provides support for all major operating systems and drivers. Included with this board is FBG32, a Windows based application that offers full image capture control. MCI, TWAIN and Video for Windows drivers are also included.

Software Developers Kit
A comprehensive Software Developers Kit (optional) provides programmable access to the features of the FlashBus Spectrim Lite hardware architecture. The SDK includes DLLs for Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, NT 4.0, XP and VISTA. Sample applications with source code are also included.

High CPU Compatibility
The FlashBus Spectrim Lite frame grabber provides a universal slot PCI 2.2 compatible interface (both 3.3v and 5v) having both slave and master mode compatibility. The FlashBus Spectrim Lite was designed to be fully compatible with all Pentium class computers. Because the FlashBus Spectrim Lite is a functional subset of the FlashBus Spectrim Pro, any software written for the FlashBus Spectrim Lite will run properly on the FlashBus Spectrim Pro as well.

Two Small Form Factor Versions
Both the FlashBus Spectrim Lite and the FlashBus Spectrim Lite Low Profile version are built on an identical, very small form factor - 2.5" x 4.721", enabling their use in embedded systems and other environments with tight space constraints. The FlashBus Spectrim Lite's metal bracket is 4 3/4" high, while the FlashBus Spectrim Lite Low Profile's bracket is 3 1/4" high.
